Our Vision
Davisther Brokers Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company on the 30th of August 1990 to engage in the business of risk management, insurance and reinsurance broking. The original name at inception was Corporate Bond Insurance Brokers. On the successful change of ownership and management, the National Insurance Commission re-issued the company with an operating license on the 15th of February 2000 with registration number RBC-305 as Davisther Brokers Limited.
Currently the authorized share capital of the company is NGN200 Million with NGN100 Million fully paid-up and backed with a professional indemnity cover of NGN750 Million in conformity with the provision of the Insurance Act of 2003.
In line with Corporate Governance, the company operates based on sound management principles and observes ethical standards in its activities at all levels in compliance with codes issued by the insurance regulator i.e. National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) as well as the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).

Wale Onaolapo
[ACII, MBA]
Wale Onaolapo was, until very recently, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc., one of the leading insurance companies in the Nigeria Insurance Industry. A consummate Insurance Professional par excellence - Mr. Onaolapo has worked for over three decades both in the underwriting and broking sectors of the Insurance Industry. He was at various times with Liberty Assurance Company Limited, Ban-Doy Brokers Company, Femi Johnson &Company (Insurance Brokers) and Unitrust Insurance Company Limited. His wealth of experience over the years has exposed him to various facets of Insurance management, General Management, General Underwriting, Marketing and Information Technology.
Wale Onaolapo obtained a diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism, UK. He is also an Associate member of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and Nigeria. He holds the Master of Business Administration [MBA] with special emphasis in Marketing Management from the Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria. Wale is also an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School having passed through the Advanced Management Program (AMP 12) of the Institution. He has been exposed to advanced training on technical and managerial related courses both locally and abroad. An astute underwriter with a very keen preference for details.Mr. Onaolapo is passionately committed to insurance profession and the interest of the insurance industry in Nigeria. He currently serves on the Governing Council of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).
Mr. Onaolapo also serves as a Director on the Board of several blue-Chip Organizations in Nigeria.

Olugbemiga Sowemimo
Mr. Olugbemiga Sowemimo, an accomplished legal practitioner graduated in law at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and was later called to the Bar at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1984. He obtained his Master of Law Degree from the University of London (University College), United Kingdom in 1986.
Mr. Sowemimo served in legal professional capacities at various times with Olisa Chukwura & Co, Ibrahim Haruna & Co. as well as NICON Insurance Plc between the year 1984 and 1990. In 1990, he set up his own firm, Olugbemiga Sowemimo & Associates of which he is the Principal Partner up to date. He is highly experienced in Insurance and Shipping law and also serves on the Board of CSB Agencies Limited.
Mr. Sowemimo served in legal professional capacities at various times with Olisa Chukwura & Co, Ibrahim Haruna & Co. as well as NICON Insurance Plc between the year 1984 and 1990. Victor Dike
Victor Dike is a Chartered Accountant and an accomplished corporate and financial strategist. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Quick Projects Limited.
He holds a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance of the University of Lagos. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and an associate of the Certified Pensions Institute. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and the Leadership Competencies Program of the School of Management, Cranfield University in England
Victor was the Country Chief Executive Officer of World Bank/STEP Nigeria Initiative, established by the World Bank Group to facilitate development of private sector businesses.
Victor Dike’s professional career spans various areas in the Financial Services Sector including Development finance, Commercial Banking, Mortgage Financing and Merchant Banking. He has vast experience in Institutional Strengthening in the Insurance Industry and was financial adviser to various merging insurance companies during the sector’s consolidation programme.

Titilayo Olaolapo
Titilayo is a chartered broker with over two decades of working experience in the insurance industry in Nigeria. She started her career with Femi Johnson & Company (Insurance Brokers) and subsequently served in Cornerstone Insurance Plc for over ten years rising to the position of the Head of Technical Operations in the company.
Titilayo is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and a holder of the Lagos State University’s Master of Business Administration degree with special emphasis in Marketing Management.

Tayo Ogundipe holds Higher National Diploma in Insurance from The Polytechnic, Ibadan and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. In a bid to expand his knowledge, he proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State where he obtained Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Business Administration with entrepreneurship as area of specialization.
Tayo is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and a prolific insurance practitioner with over 20 years of experience starting with the Corporate Alliance & General Insurance Company Limited in 1992. He has, at various times, worked with Industrial & General Insurance Company Limited (IGI), Trust & Guarantee Insurance Company Limited as well as Sovereign Trust Insurance plc.
His last employment was in the position of Regional Director, Northern Operations with Standard Alliance Insurance plc from where he joined the top management team of Davisther Brokers Limited.

Dolapo Akinwunmi Asst. GM, Business Dev.Dolapo is a versatile business and strategic analyst with over 18 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Relations from the Lagos State University. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She started her career in the year 2000 with the erstwhile Nigerian French Insurance Plc as a marketing officer and advanced to the position of a unit manager. She later joined Skye Bank in the year 2006 as a Team Lead in the Retail and Commercial Banking unit. In the course of her career with Skye Bank Plc, Dolapo rose to the level of Branch Head of Marketing and Relief Business Development Manager, a position she occupied before joining Davisther Brokers Limited as the Assistant General Manager in charge of Business Development. -
Raphael Abiiba - Head, Clients Services & Reinsurance BrokingRaphael is a well-grounded underwriter with about 10 years cognate industrial experience. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (AIIN). He is a graduate of Higher National Dilopma (HND) in Insurance and Actuarial Science from Lagos State Polytechnic. He also holds Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Insurance from Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Osun State. He started his career as an Administrative Officer with Access Bank Plc in 2006 before joining Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc in 2008 as an underwriter. Raphael has been exposed to all facets of technical operations in the course of his career in Sovereign Trust and was the head of the Reinsurance Department of the company before resigning to join Davisther Brokers Limited. Raphael has at various times attended several technical, leadership and management development programmes at different times both at Local and International levels. He is currently the Manager in charge of Client Services & Reinsurance Broking.

Alaba Egundeyi Head, Finance & AdministrationAlaba is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting (HND) from the Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State. He has several years of working experience cutting across internal audit, accounting/management and external audit. He started his career in 2003 as a Qualified Trainee (Audit & Tax) at Kunle Ladejobi & Co. (Chartered Accountant) where he worked for two years before joining Pama + Abog Group Ltd in 2005 as an Accountant. In 2008 he moved to HLB. Z. O. Ososanya & Co. (Chartered Accountant) where he worked as (Audit & Tax) Manager before joining Davisther Brokers Limited in 2015. Alaba is currently the Head, Finance & HR of Davisther Brokers Limited. -
Dele Adelusi Head, Information TechnologyDele is an astute Information Technology professional with about fifteen years working experience in Data Management, Programming, Web development, Networking, System Analysis & Design. Dele graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. He followed this up with Post-graduate Diploma in the same course with Lagos State University, Lagos and subsequently obtained Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Dele has also completed his Professional Master’s degree program in Business Computing (MBC) with the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He started his working career with Profund Securities Group in 2005, and worked at Futureplus Technologies Limited as System Analyst/Senior Consultant before joining Davisther Brokers Limited in 2016 as the Manager in charge of Information Technology operations of the Company.
